Henny Kim is a versatile and passionate Composer, Producer, and Arranger, dedicated to creating impactful music across a wide range of genres, including works for media.

 

With a strong foundation in classical composition, she explores unique orchestral textures and melodic ideas through both electronic and acoustic techniques. Her diverse portfolio spans classical, jazz, ballad, pop, and experimental electronic music, reflecting her commitment to innovation and artistic exploration beyond genre boundaries.

 

Henny holds a Master’s degree in Studio Composition from the State University of New York, Purchase College, and a Bachelor’s degree in Classical Composition from South Korea. She is currently pursuing an MFA in Screen Scoring at Columbia College Chicago, one of the leading programs in music for visual media.

 

Alongside her academic work, she serves as a Music Director, Composer, and Producer for various production teams. Most recently, she contributed additional music to animated series for major platforms such as Netflix and Disney.
